A third-generation craftsman and Master Gilder, specializes in the conservation and restoration of gilded objects, period picture frames, and gilded furniture. With over 30 years of experience helping client’s choice the best possible approach that meets the needs of the object and the client’s expectations and budget. Being a native of Long Island New York, I have had the opportunity to work in several Gold Coast Mansions and private estates conserving art objects and architectural elements. These homes which are often considered works of art in themselves has formed in me a deep appreciation and passion for historic homes. This passion led my wife and I to relocate our home and business to the historic town Woodbury CT in 2018. We purchased an 1820 Greek Revival home and spent the past 7 years restoring it to its former glory. This restoration project has been a valuable learning experience in historical preservation, from purchasing period floorboards and doors to applying for permits with the town historic board. Equipped with business management skills, steadfast ethics and zeal for art and architecture have provided me with a solid foundation in real estate.
